I would like to begin this letter with some information about the changes that have been taking place, or which will be taking place, and our main lines of activity in confronting new challenges. Firstly, in this issue, the composition of the new Management Committee is set out, as are the Associate Editors who will lead each of the UBR areas, and the Deputy Editor who will coordinate them. We would like to thank the seven outgoing Associate Editors for the work they have done over more than two years in their respective areas. Their dedication, ability and academic merit have allowed us to ensure quality in the editorial process. We also want to give our thanks to and welcome the new members of the Management Board, who will confront this new era not only with their characteristic rigour, but with the enthusiasm and dedication that a project such as UBR requires.
Similarly, we have begun a restructuring of the Scientific Committee which, given the need to achieve internationalisation ratios among its members, will in principle now be made up of 14 professors: seven from institutions in countries other than the one in which the journal is edited, and the seven outgoing Associate Editors. This new system will allow the rotation of members, who will change as the outgoing Associate Editors join. We would like to thank those professors who have accompanied us in the last few years for their hard work and dedication, many of them since the committee’s creation. Their trust, advice and good work have been the pillars upon which UBR has established itself as a leading publication. Without their support, UBR would not be where it is today; many thanks to them all on behalf of the Management Board.
It is a priority for the Management Board to continue in its commitment to the quality of articles published, as it has been doing, keeping our founding mission and objective “to transmit the most innovative ideas and developments generated by the scientific and academic communities to business leaders” at the forefront of our minds. For that reason, all authors wishing to submit an article for review must answer the following questions (which will be incorporated into the new platform as a file attached to the article):
• What is the primary message or idea in your article? Can business owners and executives apply it?
