Abstract

The acting of La pechuga de la sardina (Lauro Olmo, 2015), has led my reflection on his
stage women who look real with their actions and words, which the playwright, who is a
great observer of life and convinced of the value of the female gender, has been able to
provide them with. The gender conflicts articulate much of the works of Lauro Olmo and
his attitude in favour of the victim leads him to create a gallery of female characters of
solid sketch in their strength but also in their weakness: women looking for a space where
exercise their freedom.
