The logistic development in the Spanish food and fashion sectors

Abstract

Integration and coordination along the supply chain (both internal and externally) is a topic of interest and importance among logistics managers and researchers because it has been considered as a source of supply chain improvements and, more globally, of competitive advantages. In this sense, the objective of this paper is to identify the evolution of organization for managing supply chain in a context of adaptation to markets that demand, among other aspects, a higher efficiency and flexibility. To achieve this objective, a comparative analysis of 25 companies of food and fashion sectors has developed.
