Abstract

In this paper we classify the community services of the Spanish saving banks and we analyze the effect that the size and the State ownership have on these community services. Our results show that the largest saving banks are more prone to social and health activities in detriment of culture and leisure. The presence of Public Administration does not seem to have any significant impact.
