Perfiles de proactividad medioambiental: evidencia en empresas industriales españolas

Abstract

This paper approaches the multidimensionality of the implementation of environmental practices in the business context. After a review of the different practices adopted in the environmental transformation of firms, empirical evidence of their implementation is provided over three Spanish industrial sectors. In particular, four implementation dimensions are identified: planning and organization, product design, internal production processes, and logistic processes. Based on the level reached on each of these dimensions, weidentify different profiles or strategies of environmental proactivity.
