Abstract

Energy is one of the most daunting problems in our society. Increase in energy efficiency and energy savings are a collective task. The information technologies industry can make a great contribution through an intelligent and efficient use of energy resources in its own facilities, through the development of technologies that help customers reduce their consumptions and through collaboration with the energy and utility sectors in order to increase the efficiency of their processes.
