Abstract

This study investigates how digital technologies shape justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion (JDEI) in operations and supply chain management (OSCM), with organizational culture as a moderator. Drawing on the newly proposed Digital Justice and Inclusion Theory (DJIT), we develop and test a structural model using survey data from 400 professionals in Nigerian quoted non-financial firms. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) results reveal that perceived ease of use is the strongest predictor of justice, diversity, and equity outcomes, while behavioral intention and perceived usefulness significantly enhance inclusion. Organizational culture strengthens the effects of digital technologies on justice, equity, and inclusion, but not diversity. The findings advance theory by integrating digital transformation and social sustainability literatures, challenging techno-determinist views, and contextualizing JDEI in an emerging-market setting. This study contributes to theory by integrating digital transformation and social justice paradigms and offers practical insights for building inclusive digital supply chains in emerging economies.
