Abstract

Integration between technology and businesses is an important key for competitiveness. Today, thetechnology applied to the business world would make no sense unless it is considered a tool integrated with the business processes. Companies and organizations must adopt innovative policies, where technology should play a strategic role in the design of business models, in order to become competitive, flexible and efficient, so that they become "on demand" organizations, capable of reacting or adapting themselves to any internal or external changes.
