RELACIÓN ENTRE EL COMPROMISO ORGANIZACIONAL Y LA SATISFACCIÓN CON LA VIDA: LA MEDIACIÓN DEL ENGAGEMENT

Resumen
El objetivo de esta investigación fue explorar la relación entre el Compromiso Organizacional y la Satisfacción con la Vida, así como determinar si el engagement actúa como facilitador. Se propuso que las dimensiones afectiva y normativa del compromiso tendrían una relación significativa con la satisfacción con la vida a través del engagement. Para poner a prueba este planteamiento se recogieron datos de una muestra de 305 trabajadores españoles; estos fueron analizados con la técnica de ecuaciones estructurales encontrando que la dimensión afectiva del compromiso es la que más se relaciona con la satisfacción con la vida; esta relación es mediada por el engagement, específicamente por el vigor o energía experimentada en el trabajo
