Abstract

This article is an integral part of the literature of the borders and focuses on the discursive space. Thus it has no interest in the process of territorialization but rather makes an assessment of the internal border so as to define the quality of the nation. In order to prove this, we fit it into the space and discursive classification set up by Alberto Moreiras (1999) to capture changes of a writing based on the unrealistic consideration. Specifically, this takes place in La region más transparente where we analyze the discourse from the literary polyphony, on the lookout for distinguishing signs of the colonialism and the subordinate status which is the main concern of the discussions focused on the Mexican modernity. This is a hermeneutical approach combined to Latin American theoretical effort.
