Abstract

This paper presents an educational experience that addressed the historical invisibility of women in the field of psychogenetics. The experience was carried out with three class groups in the Constructivist Psychogenetic Theory course at the Faculty of Psychology of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The students created a digital archive by designing infographics to identify and highlight key women in the development and consolidation of psychogenetics. Through this activity, the trajectories and contributions of authors such as Bärbel Inhelder, Contance Kamii, Valentine Chatenay and Alina Szeminska, were recovered. Analysis of the digital archive revealed that, although these women made significant contributions to areas such as formal thought, literacy, and education, their contributions have remained minimized or attributed to male authors. Finally, this experience constituted an exercise in resistance against patriarchal amnesia and promoted critical reflection on gender biases in science and education.
