Abstract

It's difficult to define terrorism and there is not a consensus. The impact of terrorism on politics, societies and the economy lead governments to identify the subjects as terrorist or “freedom fighters”. Islam is a belief and a way of life for millions in our world. The jihad terrorism uses a political argument formed instead around vocabulary symbols, and historical examples of religión to take much greater sense of legitimacy. This new jihad has been a problem since the 80´s of 20th Century and a serious matter to Western countries but even worst to muslims in their own countries. A multidisciplinary approach from Academia and proffessionals will provide more answers to fight this phenomenom.
